Stay at Old Scotch in Holland, MI

This 1920’s Arts and Crafts style cottage sits between Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan in Holland, Michigan. We fell in love with the idea of having a little cozy place to escape to on the weekends. When we stumbled upon this rundown, once loved cottage situated on Scotch street, we named it Old Scotch before we even owned it. Old Scotch was a labor of love. From tearing down 6 walls to let light flood in, to converting windows to french doors, to removing many layers of glue revealing gorgeous floors hidden beneath. This was a full renovation to bring back the glory years this cottage once knew.
